Instant messaging app WhatsApp has become an important part of our lives. Be it family or office work, it has become an easy means of communication everywhere. To improve the experience of users, Meta-owned company WhatsApp keeps making new changes to its platform. In this sequence, channel creators are going to get a new feature on WhatsApp. Creators will see the automatic album feature in their WhatsApp channel. This feature is available to some beta testers. It will be extended to more people in the coming days.

WhatsApp Channels feature has received automatic album creation in the latest Android beta. According to a report by WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp features, this new functionality enhances the user experience by increasing the organization of media shared across channels and combining them into an album.

This feature will make navigation of media content easier
“Since users can easily tap on the automatic album to access and browse the collection, we believe this simplifies navigation of shared media content across channels and eliminates the need for individual message bubbles,” the report said. Reduces and provides a more visual conversion view.

Some beta testers can experiment with the automatic album feature when sharing media across channels. When channel admins share multiple images or videos in a row in a channel, WhatsApp automatically organizes them into unified albums and channel followers can easily tap the automatic album to access the entire collection.

The automatic album feature is already present in chat and groups
The report said, “The thing to note is that this feature has already been present in chats and groups for years but it was not available in channels.”
