Ingredients
10-12 kernel almonds
5 cups flour
1 tsp orange food color
3-4 spoons ghee
3 cups water
1 pinch of saffron soaked in 1 tablespoon milk
oil for frying
Sugar
A bowl of finely chopped almonds (for garnish)
Recipe
- First of all, soak the almonds for 10 minutes. Then take them out, peel them, and grind them with water to make a paste.
After this, take a big vessel and mix flour, salt, saffron, orange food color, almond paste, and water in it and knead it.
After this, make small balls of this flour. Then apply ghee in the middle and roll them in the shape of roti.
After this, fold the roti and roll it. Cut it into small pieces with a knife and roll them again.
Now add water and sugar to a pan, boil it, and make syrup.
On the other hand, put oil in a pan and heat it. When it becomes hot, add puris to it and fry it.
After this, take them out and put them in syrup. Almond puri is ready. Take them out on a plate and garnish them with almonds.
