Material
Green coriander - 1/2 cup
Mint - 1/2 cup
Cumin-fennel - 2 tsp (roasted and crushed)
Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida - 11 pinches
Dry mango powder - 1 tbsp
Lemon - 2
Black salt - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Plain salt - as per taste
cold water - 2 glasses
Recipe
1 To make Jaljeera, first clean and wash mint and green coriander.
2 After this, peel and chop ginger as well.
3 Then grind green coriander, mint, ginger, ground cumin-fennel, sugar, asafoetida, black salt, and common salt in a mixer jar and make a paste by adding some water.
4 After this, pour 2 glasses of cold water into a jug and mix the prepared paste in it.
5 Now squeeze the lemon juice into the water and mix it.
6 If you want more spiciness in jaljeera, you can add soda water and ground black pepper to it.
7 Take your jaljeera is ready.
