Till a few decades ago, where the problem of hair loss was considered to be related to age, at present, its risk is seen increasing rapidly in the young population. According to a report by the National Health Service (NHS), about 25 percent of the young population is a victim of Male Pattern Baldness (MPB), in which the problem of hair loss and low density starts by reaching the age of 20-25.

It affects about 50% of men by the age of 50. Significantly, not only men but a large number of women are also troubled by the problem of hair. Hair loss is estimated to affect 50 percent of women in the United States.

Health experts say, there can be many reasons for growing hair problem-baldness at a young age, in which lifestyle-diet disturbance, excess stress, environmental problems are the main ones. People troubled by the problem of baldness keep making many efforts for this, but they do not get any benefit. In the study, researchers have told about molecular therapy which is believed to have effective effects.

What did the study find?
Researchers at the University of California conducted a study to understand how baldness can be cured, and which therapy can be effective. In this, the team found that benefits can be found in baldness through molecular therapy with techniques like Botox. Most importantly, this process of micro-needling is considered to be relatively painless.

In this research published in Nature Trusted Journal, scientists said that skin warts can be responsible for hair problems and baldness can also be cured through these.

Studies on rats
For research, scientists included rats. They found that the pigment cells of the skin produce high amounts of osteopontin protein, which are located near hair stem cells. If it is targeted through therapy, it can help in increasing hair growth.

If molecules are inserted through the needle into the upper cells of the skin, hair growth can be increased. However, research is still going on to know its effectiveness.

PRP therapy has also been in great discussion
In a conversation with Amar Ujala, Delhi-based dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Sameer Bhardwaj says, for the treatment of baldness, many measures like hair transplant, PRP, and cupping therapy have been discussed a lot, but how effective will they be, and what level. Trained people are doing it, a lot depends on these things. There have also been cases of death due to incorrectly performed hair transplants.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy injections have also been in the news. It mainly focuses on treating thrombocytopenia which is a very low level of platelets in the blood. People have also got benefited from this, but this therapy is like 'one size does not fit all'. Before any therapy, it is necessary to examine the skin and understand the causes of baldness.

Cupping therapy can promote hair growth
Cupping therapy expert Dr. Zohaib Qazi in Lucknow explains, In the initial condition of hair loss, where the pores are not closed, the circulation of new blood is promoted by taking out the dirty blood through cupping therapy, which rapidly grows new hair. May help in hair growth. But here also it is necessary that first the real causes of baldness are treated properly. The therapist needs to be trained, otherwise, it can cause harm instead of benefit.
