Ingredients
Bhindi - 500 grams
Gram flour - 1/4 cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup
Turmeric - 2 pinches
Red chili powder - half teaspoon
Coriander powder - half teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
salt to taste
oil for frying
Recipe
First of all, wash the bhindi thoroughly and then wipe it dry with a cloth.
Now cut the bhindi lengthwise in a large bowl and remove its seeds.
After this, add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, gram flour, rice flour, lemon juice, and salt to the chopped okra. Mix everything well and keep it for 10 minutes.
- Don't put water in Bhindi at all. Gram flour and rice flour will stick well only because of the gluten released in okra.
Now heat oil in a large pan on medium heat and when the oil becomes hot, add lady finger to it and cook till it becomes crispy.
Now take out the bhindi on tissue paper and serve hot with chutney or sauce. Crispy okra can also be eaten with lentils and rice.
