Holi, the festival of colours, also fills colours in everyone's life. On this day, there is a smile on everyone's face and colours are visible all around. These colours cause great harm to the skin because they are made from chemicals instead of natural ones. You must have heard about the pre-Holi skincare routine, but even after Holi, you must pamper your skin well.

Today in this article, we will tell you how to care according to skin type.

Care for dry skin

If your skin is dry then you should take special care of your skin after Holi.

  • You should use gentle moisturizing soap and body wash on your body and face while taking bath. Also do not take bath with hot water. This will strip off the natural oils from your skin, which can make your skin dry.
  • If you want, you can also apply turmeric and a pinch pack on the face to keep the dry skin clean.
  • Apply a thick moisturizer to damp skin immediately after showering. By doing this, the moisture will be locked in your skin, due to which your skin will remain hydrated for a long time.

Oily skin

  • Dust sticks easily on oily skin. Due to this, there may be pimples etc. on the skin. So keep the skin clean. For this, you should use foam face wash.
  • Instead, you can also clean the skin with tomato and sugar. Apply light moisturizer after washing your face.

Tone the skin with an alcohol-free toner. Then don't forget to apply sunscreen.

Sensitive skin

Sensitive skin needs more care. The reason for this is that the skin barrier is weak, due to which the problem of redness, irritation and dryness occurs easily.

Damaged skin due to colours

  • The colours of Holi cause a lot of damage to the skin. In this case, you should apply aloe vera gel on your face for a few days. This will help heal your skin.
  • Turmeric is also considered good for the skin. Turmeric contains anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidants, which can heal your damaged skin. Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric with water. Make a thick paste and apply it to your face. Clean it with lukewarm water.
  • Take an oatmeal bath. It will benefit your skin in many ways. Add 1 cup of oatmeal to lukewarm water. Let it soak for some time. Now take bath in this water.
