- If you are planning to wash a silk saree at home, then first of all know that you have to wash it with soft detergent only.

- Also, keep in mind that you have to wash your silk saree in cold water only. If you wash a silk saree with hot water, it can also get damaged.

Home remedies to remove stains on silk saree
- Wherever there is a stain in the silk saree, you can clean it with white vinegar. You have to add water to vinegar and then dip the cotton in this mixture and clean the stain with light hands.
- You can also remove the stain with lemon juice. For this, you have to mix lemon juice in water first and then clean the stain with that mixture.
- You can also remove the stain on the silk saree by using petrol, but you should remove the stain on the saree by putting only 2 drops of petrol in a cotton ball.
