Yellow-coloured cowries are considered special and rare in Diwali puja. This cowrie is worshipped for 5 days along with Mata Lakshmi and Ganesha. After 5 days of worship if you tie this cowry and keep it in the locker near the picture or idol of Goddess Lakshmi, the locker never becomes empty. After this, keep in mind that you save money well, avoid wasteful expenditure and do not do anything that may make Goddess Lakshmi angry with you.
Cowrie is the symbol of Goddess Lakshmi
Let us tell you that cowrie is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi. This is because the real cowry comes only from the sea and the conch and cowry found in the sea are considered the symbols of Goddess Lakshmi. Therefore, cowries are kept in the safe during the worship of Goddess Lakshmi and on the day of Diwali puja. Cowries are the shell or bone of a sea creature and they also have the natural property of attracting money, hence it is kept near the money in the safe so that Goddess Lakshmi remains happy and wealth and blessings continue to flow. By worshipping even cowries in the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, happiness and prosperity remain in the life of the devotees and they never have to face financial crisis.
Note- Never throw these cowries like that nor use the worshiped cowries for playing. Cowries should always be kept safe like money; otherwise, Goddess Lakshmi may be insulted.
