Mother Lakshmi also resides there. In such a situation, if you are also thinking of entering the house during Shardiya Navratri this time, then you must keep some things in mind. Let us know the rules of housewarming during Shardiya Navratri...

Urn
Kalash is considered very auspicious. Housewarming is not done without Kalash, hence keep Kalash before entering the new house. First of all, take an urn, fill it with water, and place 8 mango leaves and coconut in it. Then make a Swastika symbol with Kumkum on the Kalash and coconut. Apart from this, definitely take auspicious things like coconut, turmeric, jaggery, and Akshat along with the Kalash.

Please wear abandonware
Before entering the house during Navratri, put a Bandanwar i.e. Toran made of Ashoka or mango leaves and marigold flowers at the main entrance of the house. Apart from this, make footprints and rangoli of Goddess Lakshmi with the help of Abir and colors at the main entrance. Doing this brings auspiciousness to the house.

Husband and wife enter together
If you are married, then while entering the new house, husband and wife should enter together. While entering a new house, the husband should put his right foot forward and the wife should put her left foot forward.

Install the urn in this corner of the house
Ganesh Ji is the god of auspiciousness. In such a situation, while meditating on Lord Ganesha and chanting mantras, establish a Mangal Kalash in the puja room built in the northeast corner of the house. Also, install the idol of Lord Ganesha, Dakshinavarti conch, and Shriyantra in the temple of the new house.

Sprinkle Ganga water in all corners
After completion of the Griha Pravesh process, sprinkle Ganga water, turmeric, and rice in every corner of the house. Also, it is auspicious to recite Durga Saptashati and Ramcharitmanas when entering the house during Navratri.
