Bored of eating the same vegetable every day and want to eat something different and delicious for dinner, then you can make Dhaba style sev tomato curry at home. With this easy method, you can prepare it in minutes.
Ingredients
a bowl of sev
two tomatoes
2 tbsp curd
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
2 teaspoons red chili powder
one teaspoon of coriander powder
half a teaspoon cumin powder
½ tsp garam masala
1 teaspoon kasoori methi
half teaspoon turmeric
half a teaspoon mustard seeds
Half a teaspoon whole cumin
a pinch of asafoetida
chopped coriander
two tablespoon oil
salt to taste
Method :
First of all, add red chili powder, coriander, cumin powder, and turmeric in a bowl and mix well.
Now make a paste by adding two spoons of water to these spices.
After this, put oil in a pan and heat it on medium heat and then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and roast them.
Now add a pinch of asafoetida and mix it well and then add the spice paste.
When the spices are cooked well, add chopped tomatoes and cover the pan with salt.
When the tomatoes are cooked well, add tomato puree to them and then cook well.
Later add curd to it and let it cook for 1-2 minutes. When the gravy starts leaving oil, add kasoori methi to it.
Now add garam masala and half a cup of water and cook the gravy well.
Finally, add sev to it and let it cook for some more time.
When the sev becomes soft, turn off the gas and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot.
