The country's largest government bank SBI has issued an alert for lakhs of customers. In recent times, SBI's UPI (Unified Payments Interface) service has not working causing inconvenience to countless users.
The bank has recently shared information on its social media channels that its UPI system is undergoing a technical upgrade. As a result, users may occasionally face disruptions while using UPI services. The bank regrets any inconvenience caused and assures customers of prompt updates. It is noteworthy that customers have been facing problems regarding UPI services since Saturday.

Banks carry out scheduled activities from time to time, allowing customers to settle urgent matters in advance or make alternative arrangements. Additionally, many users have reported problems with internet banking.

However, SBI had already informed the customers about these issues. The bank informed us that due to scheduled activities, Internet Banking applications will be unavailable from 00:40 to 02:10 on October 14, 2023. It is to be noted that a large number of SBI account holders use the UPI payment service.
