Garlic chutney is a spicy and flavourful condiment commonly used in Indian cuisine. It is made with fresh garlic cloves, red chili powder, and other spices. Garlic chutney adds a punch of flavor to various dishes like samosas, pakoras, sandwiches, etc. Learn here the easy recipe for making garlic chutney:
Ingredients:
10-12 garlic cloves
2 tbsp Roasted peanuts
2 tbsp Dry coconut (optional)
2 tbsp Red chili powder
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Cumin
Salt as per taste
Water as required
Oil for tempering (optional)
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (optional)

Instruction:
Peel the garlic cloves and roughly chop them.
In a blender or food processor, add chopped garlic cloves, roasted peanuts, desiccated coconut, red chili powder, lime juice, cumin, and salt.
Mix the ingredients until you get a thick paste. If needed, you can add some water, but keep the chutney thick.
Take out the chutney in a bowl.
For the tempering, in a small pan, heat some oil (optional) over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Garlic chutney is now ready to be served.
