The festive season has arrived and with it, the enjoyment of sweets has also increased. Different regions have different famous sweet dishes that have gained popularity across the country. One such traditional sweet is "Moti Pak" of Gujarat, which is made from gram flour (besan) and mawa (khoya). This sweet dish is always in demand, but its popularity increases during the festive season. Today we are going to tell you about the recipe of Moti Pak.

Material:

Gram flour – 3 cups

Mawa (khoya) – 1/4 cup

Sugar – 2 cups

Milk – 4 tbsp

Desi ghee – 2 tsp

Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

Rose water – 1 tsp

Saffron – a pinch

Yellow food color

Red food color

Instruction:

-First of all, take a vessel and add 3 cups of gram flour to it. Slowly add 1.5 cups of water to it.

- Now take two different utensils. Prepare a thick solution by mixing yellow and red food colors together.

- In another vessel, heat 2 cups sugar and water on medium flame.

-When sugar starts melting, add 4 tablespoons of milk in it.

-Like Moti Pak, Moti Pak also requires a string of syrup.

When a string forms in the syrup, turn off the flame.

- Add saffron and a pinch of yellow food color to it.

Now take another pan and heat it on medium flame.

- Add ghee to it.

-Once the ghee is hot, pour the gram flour batter into the hot ghee using a slotted ladle to make boondi.

- Add the prepared boondi to the syrup and mix well.

-After mixing all the ingredients well, add cardamom powder, a pinch of saffron, a little ghee, and rose water.

-After two minutes, turn off the flame and spread the mixture well on a tray.

- Let the Moti Pak cool for a while.

-Use a knife to cut it into your favorite shapes or square pieces. Your pearls are ready to enjoy.
