When is the facility of retiring room available?
You will easily get the facility of a retiring room of Indian Railways at the station. In this, when your train is late or reaches before time, you can book a retiring room. You can book it from the IRCTC website or app.
To book a retiring room, you need a PNR Number. Once the retiring room is booked, you can stay in it comfortably. Suppose your train is running late by 5-6 hours, then you will no longer have to wait for the train on the platform. You can easily stay in a retiring room by booking it.
How to book a retiring room
You go to the Railway website (https://www.rr.irctctourism.com).
Here you have to click on Book Retiring Room.
After this, you have to select between AC and non-AC rooms.
Now enter your PNR number.
You have to choose the facility in the room at your convenience.
Now you have to select the timing. Please note that your room will be booked on an hourly basis.
After this, you have to click on payment.
You have many options for payment. You can make payment by selecting any one option.
After payment, your room will be booked.
Note- If you do not have a confirmed tick then you will not get the facility of retiring room. However, you can avail of this service on RAC tickets. To book a room, you will have to show an Aadhaar Card or PAN Card.
