What is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?
PM Awas Yojana - Rural Housing for All has started with the mission. In this, financial assistance is given to homeless families and people living in mud wall and mud roof houses are also assisted under PM Awas Yojana-Gramin. Such people who take care of the family by doing hard work are given the benefit of this scheme. Apart from this, families belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities etc. are provided benefits from this scheme. In rural areas, pucca houses are built and given to the people under the PM Awas Yojana-Gramin.
How to apply for this scheme?
To apply for this scheme, you must have an Aadhaar card, PAN card and Voter ID card as well as a residence certificate. While filling out the form, you have to attach a copy of the income certificate, in which you can give Form 16, a bank account statement or a copy of the latest IT return.
You can get the benefit of this scheme only if your income does not exceed Rs 3 lakh every year. To apply for this scheme, you must first go to the website of PM Awas Yojana. After this, you will see the option to log in.
After logging in, you have to select a category. Then in the menu, you have to click on Citizen Assessment or Citizen Assessment and select the applicant category.
After this, you have to fill in all the information in the form and after filling in the captcha code, you have to click on submit.
