Bread Rasmalai The taste of traditional Indian sweet rasmalai will be loved by all and today we have come up with its recipe for you. Let us know how you can make it.

Ingredients :

  • 6 slices of bread (white or brown)
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • few strands of saffron (optional)
  • Chopped pistachios or almonds for garnishing

Instruction:

  • Trim the crusts off the bread slices and cut them into round or square shapes.
  • In a broad pan, boil the whole milk on medium heat.
  • Lower the flame and add condensed milk. Mix well to combine.
  • Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron threads to the milk mixture. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Allow the milk mixture to simmer on a low flame for about 10 minutes while stirring occasionally so that it does not stick.
  • Add the bread slices to the boiling milk mixture and let them soak for 5 minutes, gently pressing them down with a spoon to ensure that they are completely submerged in the milk.
  • Switch off the flame and soak the bread slices in milk for 10-15 minutes. The bread slices will absorb the flavor of the milk and become soft and spongy.
  • Transfer the bread ras malai to a serving dish, and pour the milk mixture over the bread slices.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachios or almonds.
  • Serve the Bread Rasmalai cold or at room temperature.
