Three to four medium sized potatoes
One cup of curd
One cup of arrowroot
One cup of sugar
Three to four strands of saffron
Four to five cardamoms
Desi ghee
Method of making jalebi
To make this jalebi, first of all you have to prepare the sugar syrup. To make the syrup, mix one cup of sugar and one cup of water and cook it. When it is cooked, add ground cardamom to it and keep it aside. After this, now start the process of making jalebi.
To make jalebi, first of all boil the potatoes, peel them and mash them well. Now add curd and arrowroot to the mashed potatoes and make a paste.
Keep in mind that its paste should be as thick as that of ordinary jalebi. If it is too thin, then you will not be able to make jalebi. When the batter is ready, add saffron strands to it, so that the color of the jalebi becomes good.
