So many farmers got the 16th installment
In fact, on February 28, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the amount of the 16th installment to the bank accounts of 9 crore farmers. This money was sent to the bank accounts of eligible farmers through DBT.
When can the 17th installment come?
Under PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 6,000 is given annually and this money is given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each every four months. In such a situation, the 16th installment was released on 28 February 2024, and if it is added then the time of four months is around June.
Therefore, it is believed that the 17th installment may be released in June. However, this benefit will be available only to those farmers who are eligible and complete all the work completely. The first of these is to get the land verification done, the farmer who does not get this work done may be deprived of the benefit of the installment.
At the same time, to get the benefit of installment, it is also mandatory to get e-KYC done. You can get e-KYC done from the official portal pmkisan.gov.in, CSC center, or by visiting the bank.
