One of the many schemes of the Government of India is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the benefits of which are given directly to the farmers. Rs 6,000 is sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries of this scheme through DBT. However, this money is given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each, but do you know that the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana can also be cheated and many such cases have come to the fore earlier? Therefore, it becomes important that you keep some things in mind, otherwise, the fraudsters can cheat you in the name of the 19th installment. So let's know how you can avoid this fraud. You can learn about this in the next slides...
These are the ways to avoid fraud:-
Number 1
Fraudsters cheat the beneficiaries in the name of getting e-KYC done in the name of PM Kisan Yojana. In this, farmers are told that they have not done e-KYC due to which their installment will get stuck. To avoid this, they have sent a link, you can complete e-KYC by clicking on it, but do not do this at all. Otherwise, you are sure to be cheated. Do e-KYC yourself from the official portal of the scheme Pmkisan.gov.in or get it done by going to the nearest CSC center.
Number 2
There are many beneficiaries under the scheme who have not got the benefit of the previous installment. In such a situation, fraudsters take advantage of this and call the farmers and talk about getting the previous installment. But you do not have to trust such calls at all and do not share any of your confidential information like OTP, bank account information, etc. Otherwise, you can be cheated.
Number 3
To cheat people, fraudsters send them some unknown link or even call them in which it is said that there is a mistake in your application or any of your documents are not updated. Therefore, a link is being sent to you through which you can do this work, but this link is fake which can cheat you. Therefore, never click on such a link.
Number 4
Fraudsters can also make fake calls to you to get your bank account updated. In these calls, it is said that your bank account is not updated and needs to be updated, but you do not have to trust these calls and you can do this work yourself by visiting the official portal of the scheme.
