Google is working on a new version of its Phone app. A new feature called Lookup is coming in the Phone app, after which you can get information about any unknown number. The lookup feature was released in Japan for Pixel devices in March this year.
Now the news is that it will be released for everyone. Apart from this, Google is working on another new update after which the call history of the WhatsApp app will be visible in the phone app. According to the new report, the new feature has been seen in beta version 127.0.620688474 of the Phone app.
After the update, users will get a Lookup feature in the app, after tapping on which the detailed information of the unknown number can be obtained. A screenshot of the upcoming feature has also been revealed.
This feature of Google will give information about unknown numbers as per the information available on the internet. Usually this will give information about those businesses whose numbers are available on Google or any other internet source. Google has not yet told when this feature will be released for all users.
