Whenever you get any government or non-government work done, you need some documents. Like Aadhar Card, because in today's era, this document is mandatory for almost all the works. But you might not know that PAN card is also included in the list of important documents. It is required for other purposes like opening a bank account, doing financial transactions, filing income tax returns, etc. But many times people have to face a lot of problems due to things like name, and date of birth being printed wrongly on the PAN card. PAN card mistakes can be corrected like this:-
Step 1
If your name, date of birth, or other things are printed wrongly on your PAN card, then you can get it corrected online.
For this, you have to go to the official portal onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html
Then click on the option of 'Change/Correction PAN Data in Application Type'
Step 2
After this, enter your category and fill the required information here.
Now enter the captcha code and submit the form.
Then your request will be registered and a token number and a link will be sent to your email ID.
Step 3
Now you have to click on the link that has come on your email ID.
After this, a page will open in front of you to update your PAN card.
Here you have to fill in the required information and click on Next.
Then you have to upload the required documents and also make the payment.
Step 4
After making the payment, you will get an acknowledgment slip, keep it with you.
Now you have to send the required information by post to the address given in NSDL e-Governance.
After this, your information is verified and after everything is found correct your PAN is updated.
