Everyone must do yoga daily for some time to stay healthy and fit. But some yogasanas are especially beneficial for the health of women. Today we are telling you about JatharParivartanasana. It is made up of three words Jathar, Parivartan and Asana. Jathar means 'stomach', 'twisting' of change and 'posture' of asana.

By doing this asana, the problems related to the reproductive health of the stomach and women can be overcome. The information about this yoga asana has been shared by health and wellness coach Mehak Khanna.

An Expert says, "If you want to make the uterus healthy, then do JatharParivartanasana which strengthens the reproductive organs and pelvic area." It is also known as a mild twisting pose. While doing this, your body becomes oblique, due to which the stomach and internal organs like the liver, pancreas, stomach, kidney, uterus, and ovaries are massaged.

Benefits of JatharParivartanasana

Gastric Parivartanasana Method

  • Lie down on the mat on your back.
  • Keep both hands behind the head.
  • Open the legs by bending them at the knees to a distance equal to the shoulders.
  • Then try to touch the right knee with the left foot.
  • After this, try to touch the right foot with the left knee.
  • To relax, bend your knees and join your feet together.
  • Keep your hands on the side.
  • Take at least 8 slow, but full breaths.

Time to do a gastric rotation

  • You can do this early in the morning on an empty stomach.
  • It can also be done in the evening after 3-4 hours of lunch.

Precautions

  • Women suffering from back pain should avoid doing this.
  • Do not do it during periods.
