NPS New Login Rules: The month of March is in its last phase. In such a situation, there are many rules which are going to change in the financial year 2024-25. This also includes rules related to the National Pension System. Pension fund regulator PFRDA has changed the rules for NPS login. The new rules will come into effect from April 1, 2024. PFRDA has made two-factor Aadhaar-based authentication mandatory to keep the NPS account safe from fraud.

The rule of two-factor Aadhaar-based authentication will come into effect in 3 days.

PFRDA issued a notification on this matter on March 15 informing that now to log into the Central Record Keeping Agency (CRS) system of NPS, it will be mandatory for the users to do Aadhaar-based authentication in addition to the login ID and password of NPS. Now an OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar of NPS subscribers. Only after entering this OTP, users will now be able to log in to their NPS account. PFRDA has taken this step to keep the NPS account safe from fraud. This rule will come into effect from April 1, 2024.
