How can you get Aadhaar updated?

If there is any problem with your Aadhaar card, like if your name is printed wrongly on it, your date of birth is wrong or your address is wrong, etc. In such a situation, you can get your Aadhaar card corrected. There are two ways for this, the first way is that you can get your Aadhaar updated online from home.

To update your Aadhaar online, you have to visit UIDAI's official website http://uidai.gov.in/. However, you can update only a few things online. In such a situation, you have to adopt another method and that is to go to the Aadhaar Seva Kendra and get your Aadhaar updated.

How long does it take to update?
If there is a mistake in your Aadhaar card and you get it updated, then it takes time. You have updated the name in Aadhaar, corrected the date of birth, updated the mobile number, etc. In such a situation, it can take up to 30 days to update Aadhaar.

At the same time, when things are updated in the Aadhaar card, your new Aadhaar card comes on the online portal. In such a situation, you can download an e-Aadhaar, but if you are getting an updated Aadhaar card (PVC Aadhaar card) then it can take 5 to 15 days.
