One of the many schemes of the central government is Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Under this scheme, people are given the benefit of free treatment, for which free Ayushman cards are first made for eligible people. Through these cards, cardholders can get their free treatment in those hospitals that are registered in this scheme, but have you ever wondered that if your Ayushman card is lost, then can you avail the benefit of free treatment? And if you can do so, then what is the way? So let's know about this without delay and know what the rule says on this. You can learn about this in the next slides...

What is the benefit?

People who are eligible under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana can get an Ayushman card. After this, through this card, you can get your free treatment in listed hospitals. Beneficiaries can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year.

What is the process of getting free treatment?

If you are an Ayushman cardholder, you have to go to the registered hospital.

You have to go to the Mitra Help Desk here and meet the concerned officer.

After this, you have to show them the card which is verified.

After verification, if everything is found to be correct, then you are allowed free treatment.

After this, the government bears the cost of your treatment.

You do not have to pay for the treatment.

What to do if the card is lost?

If you are also an Ayushman cardholder and your Ayushman is lost or has been lost, then you do not have to worry. You have to go to the Mitra Help Desk and tell your registered mobile number (mobile number linked to the Ayushman card) so that you are verified and you are given the benefit of free treatment.
