When Peshwa Bajirao's family refused to accept Rani Mastani, Bajirao brought Mastani to Shaniwar Wada and started living here with her. Today that house is famous as Shaniwar Wada Fort. However, today only the remains of this palace have survived, but still, you can see a gate named after him and there is a small notice on its right side, which gives information about this gate.

This fort is present in Mandu city of Madhya Pradesh. This palace was also built by Sultan Baz Bahadur, the last independent ruler of Mandu, for his wife, Rani Roopmati. Roopmati Mandap is famous all over the world due to its beautiful views and architecture. This pavilion is built at a height of 366 meters from the ground. A very interesting story is hidden behind the construction of this palace. Sultan Baz Bahadur was giving his heart to the voice of Rani Roopmati. The Sultan had proposed to marry Rupmati, but Rupmati was ready to marry on only one condition. She had told the king that she would marry the king only if he would build such a grand palace for her from where she could see the river, Narmada. Accepting the condition of Roopmati, the king ordered to building of this palace.

Gujari Mahal, Gwalior Fort

Let us tell you, the Gujari Mahal - was built by Raja Man Singh Tomar for his favorite queen, Mrignayani, a Gujar princess.
