Sabudana khichdi is a popular Indian dish, which is especially eaten during fasting or fasting. It is made using sago, peanuts, potatoes, and spices. The method of making it is simple and takes less time. So let us also tell you the method of preparing it.
Ingredients for making Sabudana Khichdi
1 cup sago
1 tablespoon ghee
1-2 green chillies (chopped)
1 medium-sized potato
1/4 cup peanuts
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon rock salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method of making khichdi
To make Sabudana Khichdi, first, wash the sago thoroughly with water. Now soak it for 4-5 hours. There should be enough water so that the sago is well immersed in it.
After the sago swells properly, now you have to heat the ghee in a pan. After the ghee is heated, add cumin seeds to it. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add chopped green chillies and boiled potatoes to them and fry them till it becomes light golden.
After this, add sago to it and prepare a good masala by adding rock salt. Now let this sago cook for 5 to 8 minutes. After some time it will become transparent.
Finally add roasted peanut powder and lemon juice to it, mix it well, and cook for 2-3 minutes more. You can eat it with curd or green chutney by adding coriander leaves on top.
