Which is better bus or taxi?
The taxi fare is 1800, but after a little negotiation, the matter will be done up to 1500. And the bus fare is around 250 to 300 rupees. You can choose either of the two according to your budget. If you have planned a trip on a low budget, then of course you should take the bus. On the other hand, if you want a convenient trip, then a taxi will be more suitable for you. It will take around 1.5 hours to reach by taxi while it may take 3 hours to reach by bus.
Hotel
You will easily find hotels or homestays to stay in Mussoorie. You can book either online or offline. The cost of a room can range from seven hundred to three or four thousand rupees for one night. You can find hotels according to your choice and budget.
Take a scooty or taxi to visit Mussoorie
You will not find any local convention for traveling in Mussoorie. Hence you can book a taxi or scooty. Taxi would be convenient but its fare is a bit expensive. On the other hand, if you drive a bike, then a scooty can be the best option.
Where to visit in Mussoorie?
Kempty Falls
Surrounded by mountains and rocks, Kempty Falls is situated at an altitude of about 4500 feet above sea level. This is a waterfall that shows the unseen beauty of nature. The cold water falling on the ground from a height of about 40 feet gives a different comfort. Kempty Fall is very famous as a picnic spot for travelers visiting Mussoorie.
Dalai Hills, Buddha Temple
Dalai Hills and Buddha Temple are both in the same place. If you are fond of trekking then definitely go to Dalai Hills. One has to trek here for about one kilometer, which is quite fun. A beautiful statue of Lord Buddha will be seen above. Apart from this, a wonderful view of the Himalayas will also be found from here. The place is decorated with Buddhist prayer flags. There is also a beautiful temple of Buddha on the way down. Where reaching there is a different feeling of peace and relaxation.
