Garlic-Onion
Garlic and onion have a strong smell, which can help in driving away the lizard. To drive away lizards, keep some onion pieces and raw garlic cloves in those places of your house where lizards are seen more. If you want, fill garlic-onion with water in a plastic bottle and spray it.
Naphthalene tablets
Bring naphthalene tablets home in monsoon. Keeping it in the house can get rid of lizards. Lizards cannot tolerate the smell of naphthalene and run away. Keep these tablets in the kitchen cupboard, under the sink. Keep in mind that naphthalene should not be kept near food items. Also, the use of naphthalene should be avoided in houses where there are small children or pets.
Pepper spray
Pepper spray is also effective to get rid of lizards. Mix water in black pepper powder, fill it in a spray bottle and pour it on the lizard or sprinkle it in the places where the lizard goes. This will make it feel irritated and it will go out of the house.
