Ingredients to make Mango Bhapa Doi
Ripe mango pulp - 1 cup
Fresh curd - 1 cup
Condensed milk - 1 cup
Cream - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Saffron
Pistachio and almond
Method
To make Mango Bhapa Doi, first, peel the ripe mangoes and remove their seeds. After this, put the mango pulp in a blender and make a smooth puree. Now add curd, condensed milk, and cream in a large bowl. Now whisk it well so that everything mixes well and the mixture becomes smooth.
Add mango puree to the curd mixture and whisk it well. Add sugar to it as per your taste. Now put this mixture in a vessel in which it can be steamed. After this, cover the vessel with aluminum foil so that water does not go inside during steaming. Now heat water in the steamer and keep the vessel inside it.
Steam it on low flame for about 30-40 minutes. When it is cooked properly, take it out of the steamer and let it cool. After cooling, keep it in the fridge and freeze it well. After cooling, garnish it by adding small pieces of mango, saffron threads, pistachios, and almonds.
