Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in a special program organized in the Washim district of Maharashtra. During this, the government has transferred an amount of Rs 20 thousand crores through DBT to the accounts of more than 9.4 crore farmers of the country. About 2.5 crore farmers were connected to this program through webcast. For a long time, crores of farmers in the country were eagerly waiting for the 18th installment of the scheme. Their wait is over today. Farmers are very happy after getting the benefit of the 18th installment.


When was the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana started?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started by the Government of India in the year 2019 to increase the income of small and marginal farmers in the country. Currently, crores of farmers in the country are taking advantage of this ambitious scheme of the government.

What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a great scheme run by the Government of India. Under this scheme, the government is providing financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand annually to small and marginal farmers of the country who have two hectares or less cultivable land.

The government releases this financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand in the account of poor farmers of the country in the form of three installments every year. Under each installment, an amount of Rs 2,000 is transferred, which is sent to the farmers' account at an interval of four months.


Which farmers did not get the benefit of the 18th installment?

Those farmers who had not yet verified e-KYC and land records in the scheme have not received the 18th installment in their accounts. Apart from this, those farmers who had entered the wrong information while applying for the scheme also did not get the benefit of the 18th installment.
