Detoxification

Detoxification is most important to keep the liver healthy. Although the liver cleans itself and improves its immunity, it is also important to detoxify it from time to time for liver health. For this, take turmeric water, green smoothies, fruit and vegetable juices, mint tea and chamomile tea. Also, stay away from alcohol.

Have a light dinner

Do not avoid dinner or have a very heavy dinner. This is very important for liver health. Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower) cooked in unsaturated fats or desi ghee are good for the liver. Apart from this, include quinoa and brown rice for dinner. Fibre-rich foods are good for the liver. To detoxify the liver, have black tea or coffee at bedtime.

Use ginger

Ginger is good for liver health. It prevents inflammation in the liver and promotes the release of digestive enzymes and juices from the liver so that digestion can take place properly. Gingerol present in ginger has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. It controls insulin levels and boosts metabolism. Also, it helps the liver in breaking down fat.
