Experts say that till 10 years ago, more than 90 percent of the patients coming to hospitals in Delhi were above 60 years of age. People's lifestyles deteriorated over time.
Due to all these factors, now more than 40 percent of the patients coming to the hospital are 40 to 50 years old, while 10 years ago this figure was less than 10 percent.

Dr. Hemant Kumar Goel, head of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital's Urology Department, said that till 10 years ago, 90 percent of the patients were over 60 years of age, but currently the number of patients above 60 years of age decreased to 60 in the present time 60 years old. Doctors say that its symptoms do not appear in the initial stages.

Timely diagnosis is necessary
If the kidney cancer gets caught in the initial stages, the chances of recovery increase.
Doctors say that a patient of about 45 years reached Safdarjung Hospital to get treatment in urine and treatment with another complaint. He was investigated by Dr. Himanshu Verma's team in the Department of Nephrology. Investigations found that the patient had only one kidney. Cancer has also become in them. This case was quite challenging. The patient's kidney could not be removed. In such a situation, he was admitted to the hospital and after a thorough investigation, the said part of the cancer-affected kidney was removed. After the surgery, the patient came on dialysis.
The patient was admitted to the hospital for two months. During this time, Urin slowly started passing. Later, after a thorough investigation, the doctor discharged him. At present, life is living normally. Doctors said that the case was in the initial phase. If the patient comes in the advanced stage, it would have become difficult to save.
