Due to overdraft service, money can be withdrawn even if there is no balance in the bank account.

What is Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana?
In this, zero-balance bank accounts are opened. If there is no balance in the bank account then a minimum balance maintenance charge is not applicable. Insurance benefit is also given in this scheme. This scheme has helped in providing many benefits like savings accounts, insurance, and pensions to crores of countrymen.

How to open Jan Dhan's account?
If you also want to join this scheme, then you can open your Jan Dhan account by going to the post office or bank. To open an account, you must have an Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.

To open an account one must be at least 10 years of age. If you want, you can also convert your old savings account into Jan Dhan.

This facility is available in Jan Dhan's account
The accounts opened under this scheme include a Rupay ATM Card, accident insurance of Rs 2 lakh, life cover of Rs 30 thousand, and interest on the deposit amount.

In this, you get the facility of overdraft of Rs 10 thousand.

Overdraft facility of Rs 2000 is available immediately after opening the account.

You do not have to maintain minimum balance in this account.

Jan Dhan account can be opened in any bank.
