As we know the company cannot protect your Instagram Stories with music and audio. However, there are some ways by which you can download Instagram Stories with audio. In this, you can use direct messages (DM), screen recorder, or third-party apps. Here we are telling you about the first two methods.

How to download stories from DM
First of all, open the Instagram app and go to Stories on your feed or your profile.

Now tap on Stories, which has your profile picture in the leftmost corner.
After this, on the audio stories that you want to download, tap on the 3-dot menu in the bottom right corner.

Now tap on the Save Video option.

Here you will get the message that the story will be downloaded without audio.

Now go to the messages section on Instagram and open the message screen of a contact.

After this, you click on the camera icon.

Then, select Save video from the gallery.

Then tap the sticker icon from the top menu and select the Music option.

Find your track and select its duration and the part of the track you want to add.

Now tap Done.

Also make sure that the Keep in chat option in the lower left corner is ticked, as well as Allow replays and views once. After this tap on send.

Once the video is sent, tap and hold the video and you will get several options. Select the Save option from that list.

Using Screen Recording

First of all open the Screen Recorder app and start recording.

Open Instagram and tap the Story you want to record. Keep in mind that the music is playing as you want.

Record Stories now.

Stop recording once the story is recorded.

Trim the recorded video to only the story part and edit it.

By doing this your story will be saved with music.
