The festival of India's independence is about to come. India became independent on 15 August 1947. Since then, every year on August 15, the festival of Independence Day is celebrated. Indians hoist the flag on this day, many programs are organized, in which the freedom fighters who fought for the freedom of the country, the leaders who contributed to making India a democratic nation after independence, and the soldiers who guarded the country on the border. The martyrdom of the soldiers is remembered and saluted.
The country has completed 76 years of independence. To make today's children and youth aware of the struggle of that era and the role of martyred freedom fighters, a special program for Independence Day is organized in schools and colleges. Children are also included in these events. Children give patriotic speeches at school functions on the 15th of August and participate in colorful programs.
Many times the child gets nervous or restless to perform in the school function among everyone. This may be due to a lack of confidence. Children should be encouraged to be a part of such programs and help them in the preparation so that the confidence of the child increases.

Praise the child
Praise the child from time to time to increase his confidence. The child gets encouraged by hearing praise and tries to do something new and good. If the child fails in the task, instead of finding fault and scolding him, boost his morale by praising him. Keep in mind that excessive praise can increase overconfidence in the child which is wrong.
Do not pressurize the child
On August 15, the child is preparing for the school program, so do not put the burden of your ambitions on them. Don't make him practice continuously and don't put pressure on him to make it perfect. Do not scare the child by saying that people will make fun of him, it is a matter of my respect, etc.
Spend time practicing
Give the child time to practice for a good presentation. Make the child practice. Record their presentation and show it to the child and let them understand their shortcomings.
Preparation according to ability
Keep in mind what is your child's likes and abilities. Make the child do what he likes. Do not impose tasks beyond their capacity. Understanding the ability of the child, to get the work done in which he is interested.
