Tongue scraper

To clean the tongue, use a tongue scraper immediately after brushing. You can use either steel or copper scraper. With this, dead cells or germs stuck on the tongue are easily removed. These are easily available at any shop in the market. By using it your tongue looks clean and neat. However, while scraping, do not do over-tongue scraping. This may affect the taste buds.

Triphala Water

According to experts, you should gargle with warm Triphala water. Triphala has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which help in removing any kind of bacteria from your mouth. The antimicrobial properties present in it can improve oral health. You should gargle with Triphala water every morning after waking up.

Avoiding sugar

Avoid consuming heavy sugar or sweets at dinner, as this can also cause digestive problems which leads to the formation of white patches on the tongue.

Lukewarm water

Drinking lukewarm water is also beneficial to improve oral health. Experts say that just drinking water once after waking up in the morning will not help; you should drink water sip by sip throughout the day. With this, if there are any bacteria stuck anywhere in your digestive system, they will be removed and your gut health will improve. Along with this, you can consume fennel seeds to make the digestive system healthy.
