The Mamleshwar temple is also worth a visit in the Karsog valley, where the Pandavas spent some time during their exile. This temple is built on a platform made of stone and wood. There is a dhyana in the temple, which is said to have been burning since the Mahabharata period. It is said that this Dhuna was lit when Bhima got rid of the demons and since then it has been burning.
Kamaksha Temple
Kamaksha Temple has located about 7 km from Karsog. Wood and slates have been used to build this temple. Here Kamaksha Maa is seated on a quadrilateral throne. If you come here, do not miss the darshan of this temple.
