Spicy food: Eating too much spicy food can cause stomach cancer. The active compound in chili, capsaicin, can irritate the stomach lining, causing inflammation and increased acid production, which can increase the risk of cancer over time.
Preserved and processed foods: High intake of preserved foods, especially foods rich in salt, nitrate and preservatives, is another major risk factor for stomach cancer.
