Disadvantages of eating too much ginger
1. Gastrointestinal Distress:
Excessive consumption of ginger can cause stomach problems, including heartburn, gas, and diarrhea. The spicy nature of ginger can harm the gastrointestinal tract.
2. Blood Thinning:
Ginger contains compounds that have blood-thinning properties. Consuming it in excessive amounts can increase the risk of bleeding. Eating ginger is not good for people who are already taking blood thinner medicine.
3. Low Blood Pressure:
People who consume ginger in excess may suffer from low blood pressure. This makes the person weak and may lead to fainting or dizziness.
4. Allergic Reactions:
Many people are sensitive to ginger and if they eat too much of it, they may have allergic reactions which include skin rashes, itching, and difficulty in breathing.
5. Heartburn:
Spicy properties are found in ginger, which is why if it is eaten more than a limit, there may be a complaint of heartburn or acid reflux.
