Can check through water

If you want to find out whether ghee is real or adulterated, then dissolve one spoonful of ghee in a glass of water. If that ghee starts floating on top of the water, then understand that it is real and if instead of floating, that ghee starts accumulating below the water, then you should believe that it has been adulterated.

Rub on the palm to see the purity

If that ghee starts melting after rubbing it, then you can assume that your ghee is very pure.
