Ayurvedic powder for teeth whitening

Ingredients required -

TOI quoted an Ayurvedic expert as saying that to make homemade tooth powder, take one spoon of rock salt, one spoon of clove powder, one spoon of cinnamon powder, one spoon of liquorice, dry neem leaves and dry mint leaves.

Method of preparation-

Grind all these ingredients together and make a fine powder. You should keep this powder in an air tight container. This powder will be useful for your teeth for many days. Its cost will be less than Rs 5 at a time. This powder will not have any side effects.

Method of use-

Take out a spoon from the powder you have made, keep it on your palm and clean the teeth by applying it to the brush. After cleaning teeth, wash mouth with water. Use it continuously for a week. You will start seeing the difference within a week. Rock salt will naturally brighten your teeth. Liquorice and neem will kill the bacteria on the teeth and cinnamon and cloves will strengthen the teeth.

Tips to make teeth healthy

Clean the teeth twice regularly. If there is any problem, see the doctor immediately.

Do not brush for too long. The brush should neither be too hard nor too soft. Hard brushing can damage the enamel of the teeth.

While cleaning the teeth, move the brush up and down and not directly from one cheek to the other.

To remove bacteria etc. from teeth, brush your teeth occasionally with neem toothbrush.
