Celery water
The problem of gas increases more in women during periods. Due to the problem of gas also there is a pain in the stomach. Celery is the best option to remove it. Boil one spoon of celery in a glass of water and when the water remains half, then filter it. Drink this water by taking a sip like tea. Do this two to three times a day. This will give a lot of relief.
Turmeric milk
Add half a teaspoon of turmeric to a cup of milk and heat it lightly. After this, take some jaggery and mix half a teaspoon of dry ginger and celery in it and drink it with lukewarm turmeric milk. This will reduce swelling and relieve pain.
Drink lukewarm water
Drink lukewarm water throughout the day and foment the lower abdomen and other painful areas with a hot water bag. This will also reduce swelling and provide a lot of relief. If possible, do light exercise as well.
Green leafy vegetables
To reduce the pain, you should eat sprouts, beans, green leafy vegetables, fruits and dry fruits, etc. during periods. This gives relief to the muscles. Avoid cold things like buttermilk, curd, lassi, cold drinks, etc. The swelling increases and the pain increases.
