Hartalika Teej 2023: The festival of Hartalika Teej is celebrated on Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. This fast is being observed on 18 September this year. Mother Parvati and Lord Shiva are worshiped on the day of Hartalika Teej. On this day married women fast and worship with the wish of long life and unbroken good fortune of their husbands. On the day of Hartalika Teej, married women observe Nirjala fast and in the evening, do sixteen adornments and offer water in a Shiva temple. Also, offer red-colored chunri to Maa Parvati. After this chant 'Om Gauri Shankaraya Namah Mantra'. Tie 7, 11, or 21 rupees in the chunri according to your devotion. After completing the puja, keep the money tied in the chunari with you.
