We have many types of documents, which we have to work with every day. Then whether it is sometimes for some government work, sometimes for some non-government work. Two such documents are Aadhaar Card and PAN Card. These documents are needed for other tasks ranging from opening a bank account to taking a loan. On the other hand, you must be aware that for a long time, the government has been asking to link Aadhaar and PAN card, the last date of which is June 30, 2023, is now very near. So if you want to know whether you have linked your PAN card with Aadhaar or not, you can do so within minutes. So let's see what is its method. You can learn about this in the next slides...
Whether your Aadhaar is linked with a PAN card or not, you can check this way:-
Step 1
If you also want to check whether your PAN card is linked to your Aadhaar card or not, then you can find out by checking this
For this, you have to first go to the official website of the Income Tax Department incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal
Step 2
After visiting the website, you have to go to the section with 'Quick Links'
Here you have to click on the option 'Link Aadhaar Status'
As soon as you click on this option, a new page will open in front of you.
Step 3
On this new page, you will get two boxes
You have to enter your 10-digit PAN card number in the first box
After entering the PAN card number, you also have to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number here in the second box.
Step 4
After entering your Aadhaar number you have to come to the bottom
Here you will see the option 'View Link Aadhaar Status', on which you have to click
By doing this, the status of your Aadhaar card and PAN card will appear in front of you, in which you will be able to know whether they are linked or not.
