After a long wait, Google has launched its AI video tool Google Vids. Google Vids has currently been introduced for Google Workspace, although it is not a public version, but a beta version. Google Vids was launched in Google's Google Cloud Next event in April this year.
Google Vids is an AI video generator tool that also creates storyboards. Apart from this, you can also create presentations with the help of Google Vids. Google Vids can currently be used only by those who have signed up for Workspace Labs. There is no news about the global launch at the moment.
Information about the beta version of Google Vids has been given by Google Docs Community Manager Karan S. He said in his post “We are excited to bring Google Vids to Workspace Labs. Vids is an AI-based video generator app. It also has support for Google Gemini."
Users will also have the option to choose a template for the video. Apart from this, Google Docs, Slides, Videos, and Audio recordings can also be manually added to it. It will compete with OpenAI's Sora.
