Before Bappa's arrival, people were busy cleaning their homes. Many from Bollywood and TV celebs to common man bring Bappa to their home. Ingredients for making Modak
two cups of rice flour
one spoon of desi ghee
one cup of grated coconut
two spoons jaggery
2 tablespoons finely chopped cashews
Almond
ground cardamom

Method
If you are thinking of making modak, then first prepare its stuffing. To prepare the stuffing, first place a pan on the gas and heat desi ghee in it. After this, fry the grated coconut properly. When it is lightly roasted, take it out and keep it aside.

Now add jaggery pieces to the pan. When the jaggery melts, add roasted coconut to it. Now cook it together. Also, add ground cardamom and ground dry fruits for taste. Once cooked well, turn off the gas and take out the stuffing on a plate.

Now to make modak, first take rice flour. After this, heat water in a pan and add ghee to it. When the water starts boiling, add rice flour to it and mix well. After cooking the flour for some time, turn off the gas. Take out this prepared dough on a plate. After it cools down slightly, apply ghee on your hands and knead the dough.

After this, apply a little ghee in the modak mold available in the market. After this, take a small ball and place it in the mold. Fill the stuffing inside the center of the mold. Now prepare it and steam it together for ten to 15 minutes. Ganpati's favorite modak is ready.
