* Ingredients required to make sour-spicy lentils:

1. Steep lentils - 1 cup

2. Finely chopped onion - 2

3. Tamarind pulp

4. Finely chopped green chilli

5. Red chilli

6. Tomato

7. Cumin - 1 teaspoon

8. Garam masala

9. Green coriander

10. Turmeric

11. Coriander Powder

12. Salt as per taste

13. Oil

* Easy recipe to make sour-spicy lentils:

1. To make sour-spicy lentils, first wash the soaked lentils and soak them for half an hour.

2. After this, add washed lentils, turmeric, salt, tamarind pulp, and water in the pressure cooker and whistle. Switch off the gas flame after about two to three whistles.

3. Now prepare the tadka in the pan. Add oil for this.

4. After this, as soon as the oil gets hot, crackle the cumin seeds.

5. Now add finely chopped onion.

6. Add green chilies and fry till it turns golden.

7. Now when the onion becomes golden, add finely chopped tomatoes.

8. After this add coriander powder, and garam masala.

9. Now cover and cook the tomatoes until they melt.

10. After this add red chilli and also add cooked lentils.

11. Now turn off the gas after it comes to a boil.

12. After this add lemon juice and green coriander and serve it with hot rice.
