In India, the trend of digital payment has increased a lot in the last few years. Even if you don't have cash with you, with just a few clicks you can make instant payments to anyone, anywhere, anytime. The process of making online payments through these apps becomes simple, but sometimes wrong clicks, and entering wrong numbers can cost you a lot. That's why today we are going to tell you such a trick, which protects you from financial loss.

For the safety of your phone, we always keep your phone locked, in the same way, you have to keep your online payment app also locked. It is very important to have a strong screen lock, password, or PIN for these apps. This not only keeps your phone safe when it falls into the wrong hands but also helps prevent personal and important details from leaking out.

Do not share your PIN with anyone
You should never share your PIN with anyone. Doing so can land you in big trouble as anyone can access your phone and transfer any amount they want. If you think your PIN has been leaked, you should change it immediately.

Avoid unverified links and fake calls
Sometimes we come across a lot of fake messages which contain unverified links. You should avoid clicking on such links as it may result in huge financial loss to you. Along with this, you should also avoid receiving fake calls, as the caller pretends to be calling from your bank or any other organization and may ask you for details like PIN, OTP, etc. Be informed that banks never ask you for PIN, OTP, or any other personal details.

Update the UPI app regularly
Every application needs an update and these updates come with better features and benefits. You should always update the UPI payment app to the latest version. so you don't get hurt

Do not use too many payment apps
If you have multiple payment apps installed on your phone, remove them and install only trusted and verified payment apps from Play Store or App Store. Also, using multiple apps at the same time can be harmful to you.
