* Ingredients required to make Matar Ka Halwa:

1. Green peas - 250 grams

2. Milk - 2 cups

3. Khoya - 150 grams

4. Desi ghee - 3 to 4 spoons

5. Coconut powder - 1 spoon

6. Makhana - 10 to 15

7. Sugar - 200 Gram

8. Chopped almonds - 8 to 10

9. Cashew nuts, walnuts, raisins, pistachios chopped

10. Cardamom powder

11. Saffron - 3 to 4

* Easy recipe for making Matar Ka Halwa:

1. To make Matar Halwa, first of all, you have to peel green peas and wash them thoroughly. If you want, you can also take frozen peas available in the market. The taste of both will be better than the other.

2. After this, grind the peas coarsely. Then put ghee in the pan and after heating add ground peas.

3. Now fry it well on low flame. Be careful not to grind the peas like a paste.

4. After this, when the peas are fried well on a low flame, then add 2 cups of milk to it. Now mix the peas with milk well and stir well.

5. Now when the milk starts drying up in the pan while roasting, add some more ghee. This will roast the peas well. You can also add water if the milk is less.

6. After this, drying this paste, add sugar to it. Add chopped cashews, almonds, pistachios, and makhana along with it.

7. Now fry the halwa well with all these.

8. After this, at last add khova to the pan and mix.

9. Your delicious Matar Ka Halwa is ready in this way.

10. Lastly, add cardamom powder and saffron strands to it and serve.
